Khazanah Intelektual (KI) Intellectual Khazanah as a media for Balitbangda Jambi Province contains articles/scientific papers resulting from research, studies, and literature reviews where the scope and focus are in the fields of government and regulatory studies, Regional Government and Development Policy, Political Policy, Economic Policy, Health Policy, Agricultural Policy, Financial Policy, and Environmental Policy. which can be used as policy material and recommendations for the government.


Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are subjected to the principle of double-blind peer review by qualified reviewers in their field.


Publication Frequency

KI  is published 3 times a year (April, August, December).


Open Access Statement

The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports greater global scientific exchange. All articles published in Open Access will be permanently free for everyone to read and download. We will continue to work with our author community to select the best choice of licensing options, currently for journals choosing the following licenses..


Article Processing Charges

Every article submitted to KI will not have any 'Article Processing Charges'. This includes submitting, peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining and archiving, and allows immediate access to the full text versions of the articles.


Plagiarism Check

The editor will screen the manuscript for plagiarism using the Ithenticate. The maximum similarity is 25%, and the author must reduce it after the review evaluation process. The editor provides this facility. As the comment editor on the manuscript process, who will deliver the screening results simultaneously? Plagiarism screening will be conducted by the Khazanah Intelektual Editorial Team using the Ithenticate. Ethics of Publication

  1. PUBLICATIONS CODE OF ETHICS

Intellectual Khazanah is a scientific journal managed by the Regional Research and Development Agency of Jambi Province. This Intellectual Treasure is available in print and online and is published every 4 months or 3 issues a year (April, August, December). The Code of Ethics for Publication of the Intellectual Khazanah Journal is guided by the Regulation of the Head of LIPI Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications and the policies issued by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) in all aspects of publication ethics, and especially how to handle cases of research and publication errors.

 

This statement explains the ethical behavior of the parties involved in publishing articles in this journal, including the Author, Bestari Partners, Editorial Team, and Secretariat/Publisher Team (Jambi Province Regional Research and Development Agency).

 

Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications, upholds three ethical values in publications,

that is:

(i) Neutrality, namely free from conflict of interest in managing publications;

(ii) Justice, namely giving authorship rights to those entitled to be authors; And

(iii) Honesty, namely free from duplication, fabrication, falsification and plagiarism (DF2P) in publications

 

 

Every article published in Intellectual Khazanah is sourced from the results of studies/research and development that focus on the areas of Government Policy and Regional Development, Politics, Economics, Law, Health, Agriculture, Finance and the Environment so that it can be used as policy material and recommendations for decision makers. decision.

 

 

For every article that has been approved for publication, you are required to make a statement of scientific publication ethics and copyright transfer, in the format provided.   1. AUTHOR'S CODE OF ETHICS

The existence of an author will be acknowledged after the results of the research are published. A writer is someone who expresses the results of his thoughts and/or research and development in the form of written work that meets the requirements of scientific and ethical principles. A writer is obliged to report the process and results of his research honestly, clearly, precisely, accurately, comprehensively and in a balanced manner and still store research data properly.

  1. Ensure that those included in the list of authors have met the criteria as authors;
  2. Collectively responsible for the work and content of the article including methods, analysis, calculations and details;
  3. State the origin of resources (including funding), either directly or indirectly;
  4. Explain the limitations in the research;
  5. Respond to comments made by bestari partners and the editorial board in a professional, scientific and timely manner;
  6. Inform the editor in writing if he will withdraw his written work, before the review process is carried out;
  7. Respect if there is a request from the publisher not to publish findings either in the form of interviews or through other media before they are published by the publisher;
  8. Inform the editor about (a number of) written works which are part of a gradual, multi-disciplinary research with different perspectives;
  9. The author makes a statement that the written work submitted for publication is original, and has never been published anywhere and in any language, and is not in the process of being submitted to another publisher; And
  10. The author ensures that the names listed as authors are in the order in which they contributed and are approved by all members. If there is a change, reduction or addition to the author's name, it must be agreed upon by the other authors first.

 

 

III. BESTARI PARTNER CODE OF ETHICS

Mitra Bestari plays a very important role in the scientific publication process. Bestari partners are required to be honest, objective, unbiased, independent, and only side with scientific truth. A bestari partner is someone who helps the editor to critically examine the substance of scientific papers according to their field of expertise. Bestari partners have the task of assisting editors in determining written works that can be published and helping authors to improve the quality of their written works. Bestari partners are sued

always adhere to basic principles and scientific analysis in carrying out the process of reviewing a written work.

 

 

  1. The reviewer does not carry out a scientific review of written work involving him, either directly or indirectly;
  2. Provide suggestions, feedback and positive recommendations for scientific paper manuscripts;
  3. Maintain the author's privacy by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions and recommendations for a manuscript;
  4. Encourage writers to improve their written work, by providing criticism, suggestions, input and recommendations;
  5. Follow the written work review guidelines for Bstari partners and fill out the written work assessment form determined by the editor.
  6. Written work is reviewed in a timely manner according to the style of the publication environment based on scientific principles (data collection methods, legality of authors, conclusions, etc.) that have been established.
  7. Guarantee the principles of truth, novelty and authenticity; prioritizing the benefits of written work for the development of science, technology and innovation; and understand the impact of writing on the development of science;
  8. Guarantee the confidentiality of the findings in the written work until publication; And
  9. The results of the study are presented honestly, objectively, and supported by clear arguments. Some possible recommendations resulting from the study are:
  10. a) Accepted without correction;
  11. b) Accepted with minor corrections (after corrections by the author, no need to return to the bestari partner);
  12. c) Accepted with major improvements (after corrections by the author, returned to the review partner for review);
  13. d) Rejected and recommended for publication in another appropriate place;
  14. e) Rejected and recommended not to be published anywhere because the work is scientifically flawed, or has a detrimental impact on users/society.

 

 

  1. EDITORIAL TEAM CODE OF ETHICS

The editor determines the publication process and integrates the functions of authors, review partners and journal managers to publish good and trustworthy journals. The editor responds to criticism, suggestions and objections from authors honestly and transparently. The editor's job is also to maintain the journal's independence from pure commercialization considerations and ensure that the journal remains a top-class journal in its field. Editors work based on principles and ethical standards:

 

1) responsible for the choice of journal content;

 

2) obliged to create guidelines for authors;

 

3) critically assess that the written work is free from ethical violations, honest and objective, independent, free from prejudice in making decisions, including in choosing bestari partners;

and 4) ensure that the written work review process is carried out in an efficient manner

Duties and Responsibilities of the Editor are;

  1. Meeting the needs of readers and authors;
  2. Strive to continuously improve the quality of publications;
  3. Implement a process to guarantee the quality of published written work;
  4. Prioritize freedom of opinion objectively;
  5. Maintain the integrity of the author's academic track record;
  6. Deliver corrections, clarifications, withdrawals and apologies if necessary;
  7. Responsible for the style and format of written work, while the content and

all statements in written work are the responsibility of the author;

  1. Actively ask for opinions from authors, readers, bestari partners, etc

  1. Encourage an assessment of the journal whenever there are findings;
  2. Support initiatives to reduce research and publication errors by asking authors to attach an Ethical Clearance form that has been approved by the Ethical Clearance Commission;

  4. Review the effects of publication policies on the attitudes of authors and publisher partners, and improve them, to increase responsibility and reduce errors;
  5. Have an open mind to new opinions or other people's views that may conflict with personal opinions
  6. Do not maintain your own opinion, that of the author, or of third parties which could result in decisions that are not objective
  7. The editor includes the date of acceptance, revision date, and date of approval for publication of the written work;
  8. Encourage authors to improve their written work until it is suitable for publication.

The relationship between the Editor and Readers, Writers, Bestari Partners and Journal Managers is;

  1. Guarantee that all written works published have gone through a review process by qualified bestari partners;
  2. The editor ensures that the author explains the sources, both financial and non-financial, in the creation of the written work, declares these resources or their role in research and development and

  1. The editor's considerations in accepting each article are based on contemporary value, originality, clarity, validity of the study, and suitability to the scope of the journal after consultation with bestari partners

  3. Guarantee the suitability of the selected bestari partners according to their competencies. The bestari partner members selected are those who can consider written work and do not have a conflict of interest;
  4. Critically assess that the written work is free from ethical violations, honest and objective, independent, assessing each on quality without looking at the author's nationality, ethnicity, political beliefs, race, religion, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation, as well as free from prejudice in making decisions, including in choosing bestari partners;
  5. Ensure that the written review process is carried out thoroughly, transparently, objectively and fairly;
  6. The editor can withdraw publication if there is information that is unreliable (for example due to procedural errors or calculation errors or misrepresentation of data), has been published elsewhere, contains elements of plagiarism, or does not meet the ethical code;
  7. Strive to ensure that published research complies with the scientific publication ethical code guidelines issued by LIPI and relevant international guidelines.
  8. Provide a form for the author to sign regarding the ethical statement (ethical clearance) and copyright agreement.
 

Self-Archiving Policy

KI permits and encourages authors to post their submitted articles to the journal on personal websites and institutional or funder repositories after publication.

The final version of PDF must be used, and the details of bibliographic that giving a publication credit in this journal must be included.
